Biography

When Graham Ko takes the stage, it's impossible to stay still. His vibrant melodies and heartfelt lyrics sweep the audience off their feet, creating an irresistible energy. A gifted guitarist with a voice full of soul, Graham's music blends singer-songwriter intimacy with a hint of the smooth stylings of Joey Landreth and John Mayer.

Graham’s passion for music sparked at just 9 years old when he began performing in musical theatre, film, and television. A pivotal moment came when Canadian music icon Jann Arden attended one of his shows and urged him to follow his musical dreams. He did just that, earning a Bachelor of Music with honors from Humber College, where he studied under legendary guitarist Rik Emmett of Triumph, learning the art of guitar and songwriting from a true master.

With three albums under his belt, Graham’s performances have taken him to prestigious venues like Calgary’s Saddledome for the Canadian Country Music Awards, Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, and headlining gigs like the Victoria Day fireworks concert in Hamilton. His music has even crossed international borders, with tours in Japan, captivating crowds from Tokyo to Okinawa.

Currently, Graham is back in the studio with his band, working on his next album—set to add yet another exciting chapter to his musical journey.

“Graham has an amazingly versatile voice, from funky to country to bluesy to mainstream, smooth as you please.”

– Rik Emmett, Lead Singer/Guitarist of Triumph

“I don’t usually wait to see the full set of a band, but Graham’s music drew me in. Every song was so good I wanted to hear what the next song will be. Great songs, great singing, great guitar playing, and great band. I left feeling like there’s hope for music again.”

– Pat Rush (Allman Brothers band, Johnny Winter, Jeff Healey)
